Our Approach

Truth can be a starting point for change.

Counseling offers a space to slow down, understand what is happening, and explore new possibilities. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. We look at what’s not working, identify patterns that are no longer helpful, and work toward meaningful change in your life and relationships.

I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and EMDR, and tailor our work to your unique goals and needs.

What working together is like

Counseling is not about being told what to do or endlessly revisiting the past. It is a place to be honest, gain clarity, and build on your strengths. My style is warm, collaborative, direct, and practical, with a focus on understanding the whole person and helping you move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.

The meaning of the tree

The tree in the Truth Counseling logo reflects roots and growth. Early experiences can shape how we respond years later, but those patterns can be understood and changed. Counseling attends to the roots beneath present struggles, prunes away maladaptive coping patterns, and provides the insight, resources, and habits needed for new growth.
