Relationship Counseling
Strengthen connection, improve communication, and navigate challenges together.
Support for individuals and couples
in life’s important areas
I work with individuals and couples who are navigating a wide range of challenges. Together, we can explore what’s not working, build on what is, and create a healthier path forward.
Strengthen connection, improve communication, and navigate challenges together.
Develop tools to manage anxiety, reduce stress, and feel more grounded in daily life.
Heal from past experiences and move toward greater freedom and resilience.
Find support through career changes, relocations, loss, or other major life changes.
Do you wonder how life became so overwhelming, or why you feel disconnected from the things that once mattered? Stress, anxiety, depression, career setbacks, loss, divorce, or unresolved trauma can affect work, relationships, and everyday life.
Friends and self-help resources may offer comfort. Counseling adds a trained, collaborative perspective and a place to examine the roots of a struggle, build healthier patterns, and clarify what you want to change. Lisa works with clients facing grief, abandonment, self-esteem challenges, and major changes in work or family life.
Trauma, PTSD, abuse, and neglect can affect your sense of safety, your relationships, and how you see yourself. Lisa helps clients address painful experiences, triggering events, anxiety, and boundaries. Her training includes EMDR.
Relational abuse may be emotional, verbal, or physical, and may leave you feeling confused or as if you are walking on eggshells. Sometimes called narcissistic abuse, a relationship marked by unpredictable shifts between admiration and coldness or rage can bring anxiety and self-doubt. You do not need to diagnose another person to discuss what you experienced.
Couples will learn and practice changing interaction styles to increase trust, friendship, and intimacy. Improved communication dynamics are learned and practiced in sessions, as couples navigate challenges, increase understanding of each other, and learn to regulate conflict. Lisa guides couples using her training in the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), allowing couples to practice effectively sharing their deeper emotions and concerns. Couples tend to experience fluid progress and measurable, tangible change that increases marital satisfaction and fondness for one another. As these changes happen, the sessions tend to become interspersed with laughter.
Couples then navigate their individual and common dreams, goals, needs, and desires for romance, and purpose as a couple and family.
Divorce, death, and other losses can disrupt sleep, concentration, physical health, work, routines, relationships, and a sense of direction. Grief can include denial, anger, bargaining, sadness, and acceptance, without following a fixed sequence.
Lisa supports men and women navigating divorce and cares deeply about helping children and families through the transition. Counseling offers a place to grieve, consider what comes next, and build steadier support rather than waiting for time alone to resolve the pain.

Individual counseling: $140 / 50 minutes or $210 / 80 minutes. Initial individual sessions are 80 minutes. Couples counseling: $240 / 80 minutes.
Truth Counseling does not file insurance claims directly. A monthly statement can be provided for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
If you do not have health insurance or choose not to use insurance to pay for your care, you have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate of expected charges when you schedule services at least 3 business days in advance or when you request an estimate.
If you schedule services 3–9 business days in advance, the estimate generally must be provided within 1 business day. If you schedule 10 or more business days in advance, it generally must be provided within 3 business days. If you request an estimate before scheduling, it generally must be provided within 3 business days.
If a provider bills you at least $400 more than that provider’s Good Faith Estimate, you may be eligible to use the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process. Keep your written estimate so you can compare it with your bill.
